Avery 5163 Label Template from Excel or CSV

A Avery 5163 data template is a spreadsheet with one column per field and one row per label. Add your rows in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers, then import it into PrintPiper — the headers below map directly onto a standard address-label design.

Avery 5163 sheet dimensions
Avery 5163 / 8163 is the 4 × 2 inch shipping-label sheet: 2 columns × 5 rows, 10 labels per US Letter sheet, with the first label 0.15625 inch from the left and 0.5 inch from the top.
5163 is laser stock and 8163 is inkjet stock. Print at Actual size and test on plain paper — shipping labels leave no room for a second attempt on adhesive stock.

Design one label
Create a template and choose Avery 5163 / 8163 · 10 labels / sheet under Preset. The editor snaps one label to its physical size. Add reusable variables such as {{Name}}, {{Address}} and {{PostalCode}}, or add single-page PDF or image artwork.
Import spreadsheet data
Save the template, then use Import CSV / Excel. XLSX, XLS, CSV and TSV are supported. Choose your sheet and column-name row, map columns to the template variables, and check several records in the whole-sheet preview before generating.
Records fill left to right and then top to bottom across the grid; the last sheet keeps its unused positions blank. Download PDF, PNG or TIFF files, print at Actual size, and compare a plain-paper test against the stock grid before committing adhesive sheets.

Common questions
How many 5163 labels fit on one sheet?
Ten: two columns of five 4 × 2 inch labels on US Letter paper. Eleven records spill to a second sheet with one filled label.
What is the difference between 5163 and 8163?
Only printer stock: 5163 is for laser printers, 8163 for inkjet. Both use the same 4 × 2 inch, 10-up layout and the same templates.
Is 5163 suitable for addresses?
Yes — the 4 × 2 inch size fits a full postal address plus a return address or reference line, which is why warehouses use it for parcels. For 30-up envelope labels use the 5160 layout instead.
